Amentum is currently seeking a Forensic Technical Representative (FTR) for position at Camp H.M. Smith HI.

May be required to travel OCONUS (as needed)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) input to advise the Commander and Staff on areas concerning the collection, preservation, and exploitation of forensic material.

  • Integrate forensic capabilities within his/her assigned area of responsibility in support of Combatant Commands, Service Component Commands, and Partner Nations (PNs).

  • Assist with the development of the Concept of Operations (CONOPS)for forensic support, deployment and reach back requirements within the Combatant Command (CCMD) or Army Service Component Command (ASCC).

  • Assist in determining Partner Nation (PNs) forensic exploitation requirements to support capacity building engagements.

  • Coordinate with CCMD/ASCC on all engagement opportunities for inclusion of forensic exploitation capabilities into key theater exercises and Subject Matter Expert Exchanges (SMEE).

  • Assist with development of forensic exploitation guidance for inclusion in the Theater Campaign Plan (TCP), Operations Plan (OPLAN), Operations Order (OPORD), Contingency Plan (CONPLAN), and Theater Security Cooperation Plan (TSCP).

  • Assist in developing Requests for Forces (RFF) to meet CCMD/ASCC Commander’s intent and requirements for the integration of forensic exploitation capabilities and support.

  • Identify rapid response requirements and codify those requirements in the theater Prepare to Deploy Orders (PTDO).

  • Identifying any enduring requirements for forensic exploitation capabilities and support for inclusion in the CCMD Integrated Priority List (IPL).

Required Qualifications:

Eight (8) years of experience in support of Government and Military operations, and the forensic and/or biometric communities.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing of technical reports and preparing and presenting briefings at the O-5/LTC and above level.

Demonstrated ability to read, write, interpret, and assist in implementation of the following:

  • Concept of Operations (CONOP)
  • Theater Campaign Plans (TCP)
  • Operations Plans (OPLAN)
  • Operation Orders (OPORD)
  • Request for Forces (RFF)
  • Contingency Plans (CONPLAN)
  • Theater Security Operation Plans (TSCP)
  • Integrated Priority Lists (IPL) at the Combatant Command (CCMD) and DoD Service Component levels.

Extensive knowledge of the processes for the collection, preservation, and exploitation of Collectable Exploitable Material (CEM).

Working knowledge of the DoD and DoJ Identity Management solutions and processes.

Prior experience managing and working within a forensic laboratory.

Deployment experience in direct support of Combatant Commands (COCOMs), Task Forces and overseas contingency operations.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET security clearance.

Must be able attain or possess a valid passport.

Must be able to complete and pass medical requirements for overseas deployment.
