General Maintenance Worker - Temporary
Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Worker - Temporary on Andros Island, Bahamas to work as part of a close-knit team, as well as independently, to accomplish a range of functions as you support AUTEC.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings in such trades as painting carpentry plumbing masonry and electrical work.
Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
Paint structures and equipment.
Repair or replace concrete floors steps and sidewalks.
Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
Hang doors and install door locks.
Replace broken window panes.
Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only.
Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.
Two years of job-related experience.
Must have ability to read, interpret and apply instructions, publications, and safety rules.
