Amentum, Counter Threat Solutions Directorate is seeking a Senior Administrative Support Specialist (III) to provide support to the Joint Foreign Materiel Program Office (JFMPO) Staff Directorate located in Reston,VA.


Daily hours are generally 0800-1600. There is flexibility with the arrival and departure time. Position requires 8 hours daily, not exceed 40 hours, Monday-Friday.

Provide general office support including planning, organizing, and reporting; daily, weekly,
monthly events and special events as required.

Update and maintain multiple calendars in support of tasks designated by the JFMPO Director and Senior Staff.

Perform administrative processes such as initiating Director's and Executive Staff's Visitor Authorization Request (VARs) for official engagement globally.

Prepare, review and manage read-ahead packets, briefing products, activity report, and executive summary reports.

Create travel orders and manage travel for Director and Deputy Director utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Assist with Facility management consisting of but not limited to de-conflicting office space and conference room scheduling.

Be prepared to performs other office support related duties including answering phones, taking messages, filing, copying, ordering and maintaining supplies and forms, preparing bulk mailing,
distributing mail, and providing general information as required


Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility is REQUIRED and additionally must complete a CI Poly adjudication process.

6+ years’ experience performing Administrative Support Specialist duties and responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree or an additional 6 years' of experience performing Administrative Support Specialist duties and responsibilities.

Strong interpersonal skills to work and communicate effectively (orally and written as
required) with director, deputy director, executive staff and program team leads.

Demonstrated the ability to be successful as a team member in a demanding and dynamic
environment through situational analysis and informed decision making.

Critical thinking, initiative, sound judgement, and ability to function well in ambiguous work

Demonstrate a proactive approach, attention to detail and ability to rapidly adjust to and execute changing requirements.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate and synchronize activities with all agency directorates, and also with the Inter-agency community of interest.

Experience with assisting in the planning, resourcing, execution, and management of special events or seminars.

Ability to use specialized business software systems (Microsoft Suite): Proficient using most
recent version of MS Office Suite of applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and

MS Project)
