Electrician Journeyman
Job Summary
Amentum is seeking skilled Electricians to join our team and support construction projects CONUS / OCONUS locations.
Electrical requirements
Our Company is looking for tradesmen with strong work ethics, dependable, willing to work nights, teamwork attitude, self-driven, willing to take direction.
Responsibilities:
- Install electrical conduit, wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures, perform terminations in electrical panels, transformers, AC units and other specialized equipment using hand and power tools.
- Layout and install electrical conduit, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and contract drawings; to ensure conformance of building and safety codes
- Follow contract drawing and specifications to determine location of conduit and equipment to ensure conformance of building and safety codes.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment
- Work from ladders and roofs to install, conduit, electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Work with crew members when activities require additional manpower outside of electrical trade.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma / GED
- At least 5 years of experience in the electrical trade/ Journeyman
- Must be able to perform physical activities, such as moving and lifting max 50#
- Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have an active Top-Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous overseas experience
- Master Electrical Certification
