Job Summary

Amentum is a MILITARY FRIENDLY top 10 company. As one of the largest and fastest growing service companies in our industry, we are seeking a full-time Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J) Subject-Matter Expert to support Joint Staff in Suffolk, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide system administration support for the integration and testing of new C2 systems
  • Provide configuration management and preventative maintenance for Windows Servers (versions 2000, 2012 R2, and 2019), Windows Workstations versions Windows 10 and Windows 10 Secure Host Baseline (SHB), and RHEL Virtual Servers (versions 6.10 and 8.02)
  • Provide Tier I, II and III Technical and Engineering support for all U.S. Joint and NATO C2 Systems to include GCCS-J, Agile Client, JRE and TDACS

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Technical Training in a relevant Information Technology technical field
  • Experience: Eighteen (18) years of practical experience with Information Technology to include two of the following areas: IT network implementation, IT network operations, IA concepts and implementation, operating systems, Enterprise operations, Enterprise incident management or problem resolution; Experience may be achieved simultaneously
  • Ability to support some shift work, nights and weekends as required to support training events
  • Active secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Model and Simulation Systems to include Joint Live Virtual Constructive (JLVC), Joint Theater Level Simulation (JTLS) and Low Overhead Training System (LOTS) and the interoperability between these systems
  • Knowledge or experience with Link 16 Operations and the design and implementation of Link 16 Architectures
  • Administration and system integration experience for the following Command and Control (C2) Systems: Global Command and Control System Joint (GCCS-J) versions 4.3 and 6.0.x, Agile Client versions 8.0.2.1, 8.0.3.0, 8.0.4.0 and 8.0.5.2, Joint Range Extension (JRE), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI), Tactical Data Analysis and Connectivity System (TDACS), Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) versions 1.1.2 and 1.1.3
