Job Function

We are currently hiring Micro- Miniature Module Test and Repair Technician to join our team working aboard MCAGCC 29 Palms. Responsibilities include troubleshoot and repair sub-assemblies and components utilizing automated diagnostic test equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and restore assigned electronic components and circuit cards to operational condition in accordance with OEM specifications, technical directives, and quality control guidelines.
  • Provide periodic testing and repair of ground electronics secondary repairable items.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairing of circuit assemblies. Technician shall adjust, repair and run operational checks on components and discrete circuit card assemblies following instructions contained in technical manuals or schematics provided by the Government.
  • Isolate and repair complex malfunction. The technician shall utilize a wide variety of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, automated test equipment, and computer diagnostics software provided by the Government.
  • Qualified to perform fault isolation and repair of multiple electronic components. The 2M MTR shall complete repairs and installations.
  • Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Four (4) years of experience conducting micro- miniature test and repair.
  • Ability to research and interpret technical instructions, specifications and schematics.
  • Able to provide analysis of the repair tasks required procedures necessary to diagnose and accomplish repairs.
  • Must be familiar with the repair of micro- miniature and multilayer circuit board laminates and conductors (not including subsurface repair)
  • Must be able to inspect micro—miniature repairs and identify defects on workmanship.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to sit for long periods during accomplishment of daily responsibilities.
  • Ability to handle exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, and safely working around moving equipment.

The wage range for this position is $32.13 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
