Job Description
The LMS Network Operations and Maintenance (NOM) team is looking for a summer intern to assist with ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the LM Enterprise Network by monitoring network operations, resolving issues, documenting network topology, testing new strategies and equipment, and other activities as assigned.
This position is based in Morgantown, WV and not open to remote work.
Rate: $22,736.51 – 28,78.36 (rate based on experience)

- Assist IT Network team in the day-to-day tasks for the operation and maintenance of the LM Enterprise Network
- Review and evaluate daily logs
- Evaluate and resolve potential issues with the network
- Document NOM activities
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology or related technical field
- Less than 5 years of experience
- Working knowledge of networking and IT principles
- Previous work experience or a conversant description of experience setting up home/private networks is a plus
Desired Skills & Expertise
- Networking principles
- Working knowledge of network component configuration
- Experience configuring network components a plus
- Networking certifications a plus
