Project Administrator

We are now recruiting for a Project Administrator to join us on our major project located in Aldermaston.


  • Manage flow of documents in either soft or hard copy ensuring compliance with security classifications as required

  • Ensure management of project documentation in accordance with established procedures and/or standards (documents numbering, formats, issuance, review, dispatch, recording and archiving)

  • Maintain and manage electronic and hard copy documents to verify configuration control

  • Liaise with Amentum Programmes Document Control for the processing of incoming documentation (Internal distribution, archiving)

  • Verify that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are distributed internally and externally (Clients and Suppliers) in accordance with the Amentum Document Control Process

  • Ensure control and coordination of Amentum documentation and data

  • Ensure all documentation are correctly identified, distributed and filed/stored in accordance with the Amentum Document Control Process

  • General document control activities to ensure compliance with Amentum standards and all other aspects related to document quality

  • Assistance in the preparation, collation and issue of reports and registers as may be required

  • Communicate and liaise with Programme Teams, Suppliers/3rd parties to agree standards, systems, efficient flow of documentation, handover and close-out of Project activity to ensure consistency in document control as required

  • Produce internal and external (Clients and Suppliers) reports as required

  • Ensuring the use of standardised forms and templates


  • Experience in the use of a relevant EDMS (BA, Meridian, Business Collaborator/EB)

  • Experience of maintaining a Master Document Register on a large, complex project in a classified environment

  • Experience in the application and maintenance of configuration control as it applies to large design, build, decommissioning and construction projects in a classified environment

  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL servers or equivalent

  • Fully conversant with MS Office
