Responsibilities include:
OnSite Datacenter Support
Backup Tape Swaps
Backup Tape Site transfers
Datacenter Hardware Support and Maintenance
Maintaining Datacenter Rack Drawing
Server Patching (Windows Server Update Service)
Server Vulnerability remediation
Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly Operational Tasks

Primary responsibilities and essential functions of this position?
Required experience and competencies:
Excellent communications skills, organizational skills and independent and autonomous working
Lift 50 lbs.
Experience of working under pressure to meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities.

People skills: able to motivate, influence and drive co-workers.

Provide up to date and accurate reporting to management and customers

Demonstrate ability to adapt to new technologies, skillsets and to learn quickly

Help create and update documentation for common issues and processes to contribute to the team's knowledge base
The actual work you will perform consists of a blend of operational support alongside the specification and implementation of new network infrastructure as part of a large, diverse, skilled and collaborative team. Keeping
an eye on the technology landscape is essential, too identification of new and relevant technologies to solve problems and make improvements is part of the job.

Have a clear and logical approach to issue resolution and fault diagnosis

An understanding of Storage technologies

Perform Windows patching from WSUS
Perform configuration updates and maintenance activities to patch, secure, and maintain systems.
