Senior System Administrator

Senior System Administrator
Amentum is currently seeking either a qualified government Senior System Administrator or someone with a desire to become an Information Systems Security Officer on our award winning team.
You will be joining a high performing team in our own software lab and managing a challenging information renovation project. You'll have both autonomy to get things done and a small team to use to configure to take care of the lab. If you are go-getter with strong communication skills, that works great on a team of responsible people with the Agile mindset, this position is for you!
Essential Duties:
Complete set up of a closed storage lab with the ISSM
Provide security updates and process for monthly STIGs/patches
Perform monthly security and antivirus updates
Provide versioning control for physical characteristics of configuration items
Work with ISSM/ISSO on processes for classification of data
This position involves project management duties as well as IT/System Administrator duties,. Managerial skills for items, funding, tasks and software developer involvement will be used in standing up a new lab environment with a team of dedicated software engineers on a new program
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance (not required to apply - must be able to obtain/maintain an interim Secret clearance or fully adjudicated Secret clearance to start)
7 years of equivalent experience administering Windows and Linux systems
Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining Linux and Windows servers and tools in support of Software development, to include scripting to automate tasks
Demonstrated knowledge and experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS: Windows 7, Windows 10, Linux Red Hat, Server 2008, Server 2012-OS, driver, applications, vulnerabilities, security requirements and postures, quarterly STIG updates
Interact with corporate and vendor SMEs to solve complex problems
RMF experience
ACAS scanning
Build and maintain Linux Systems
Experience documenting STIGs to support computer modifications
