System Administrator - Network Tools
Amentum is currently seeking a System Administrator- Network Tools to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.
You will be a part of a team that is responsible for delivering secure, consistent, and capable network and virtual services to ensure faster realization of business value to the client and its customers.
As a member of the team, you will:
Provision, configure, and manage network switches.
Install and troubleshoot network resources, establish, and manage ports.
Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area network (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
Perform network modeling analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have an Associate Degree and 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma/ GED and 7 years of experience.
Must have the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) OR DOE Q and maintain it for the life of the contract.
Experience with network switches, routers, and ability to navigate within and update the configuration.
Experience using network management tools/systems.
Clear understanding of the OSI Model.
Experience in documenting work performed (including issues) in service requests to service leads, management and/or transitioning work to another team.
Experience with:
Panorama.
Out of Band.
GPON.
Secure CRT.
TACACS.
AKiPs.
EMS.
WAN, LAN.
Juniper.
Cisco.
Brocade.
TC IP.
Preferred Qualifications:
Wireless (Aruba) knowledge.
Knowledge with ITSM.
ITIL Certified.
