Overview:
The Training Management System Coordinator supervises and coordinates the installation, operation, and maintenance of the training management system and record keeping requirements for the AFSS flight training and non-flight training programs.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The TMSC coordinates and facilitates the integration, operation, and maintenance of training management software and systems in support of instructor cadre personnel to include: Supervise and manage the daily operation of the TMS. Forecast, schedule, monitor and report the recurring training-related resource requirements for all training programs. Provide regular status reports on class and student training progress. Coordinate and synchronize training management support with all primary and support organizations though regularly scheduled meetings and conferences. Maintain individual training records for USG, contractor, subcontractor, and customer personnel in support of AFSS training requirements. The TMSC will manage the Training Management System (TMS) to facilitate the efficient execution of the following: scheduling classes, tracking individual progress, providing up to date status reports, and recommending changes to improve performance of all training programs. The TMSC is responsible for initiating, updating, and maintaining formal and informal training records for all live, virtual and hands-on training to include OJT courses. The TMSC will develop and maintain a Training Management System SOP and provide recommended updates to improve training performance for all training courses. The TMSC will coordinate the certification of training courses by the end customer with USG support. Utilize the TMS to support all qualification and sustainment training activities to include: Recording all training requirements, events, and proficiency results in support of the training program. Use the TMS to assist trainers and training course managers in meeting their training requirements. The TMSC will be required to operate with a degree of independence in order to proactively apply past experiences to avoid training schedule conflicts and in applications of lessons learned from current courses in order to streamline future training. Manage and supervise a small staff of training management specialists.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level: Bachelors Degree
Experience: Eight years minimum in training management in Army organizations.
Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Proficient with TMS programs and Microsoft Office Suite to prepare various reports, charts, and other related documents. Must possess a valid drivers license.
