Human Resources Associate

Amentum is seeking a Human Resource Associate for a HYBRID role (remote AND Falls Church/Chantilly, VA offices). The Human Resources Associate is responsible for providing support in the functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to:

compensation, benefits, staffing, employee relations, equal employment opportunity (EEO), employee development, labor relations, and related areas. Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and related government regulations.

Essential Responsibilities:

1) Under limited supervision, performs professional level support activities in one or more functional areas of human resources.

2) Uses established procedures to perform assigned tasks.

3) Researches and consolidates information required for analysis of human resources operations.

4) Extracts and compiles a variety of personnel data for consolidation into management reports.

5) Prepares special projects as assigned.

6) Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures.

7) Prepares reports in conformance with legal requirements or organization needs.

8) May provide work leadership to lower-level human resources staff members.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:

2 years of college level Human Resources courses or demonstrated equivalent.

2 years of general human resources experience.

Requires a general understanding of human resources administration.

Preferred:

Active Government Security Clearance
