Space / Counter-Space Operational Intelligence (OPINTEL) Analyst
Job Summary
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Amentum is seeking a subject matter expert Space / Counter-Space Operational Intelligence (OPINTEL) Analyst for an upcoming program in Colorado Springs, CO.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct all-source analytic production of foreign space and counter-space forces, activities, and capabilities, including, but not limited to, civilian and military organizations, command structure, leadership, and communications.
- Develop, coordinate, execute, and refine USSPACECOM counter-space warning problems and associated indicators daily.
- Monitor and reports on adversary space and counter-space assets OR&D. Develop pattern-of-life analysis on adversary space and counter-space forces and systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a U.S citizen.
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Master's degree in a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
- Minimum 20 years of related experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years.
- Demonstrates ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
- Demonstrates analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft, and techniques aligned with labor category mission.
- Demonstrates extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers (e.g., Undersecretary level or higher).
