Amentum has an exciting opportunity in Hypersonics and Strategic Missions Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) for the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane located in Indiana!


Will execute the following tasking:
-Perform Information Technology (IT) Specialist work managing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, or data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, or enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
-Execute Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)
-provide managerial support to projects and end users on policies or procedures for eliminating cybersecurity vulnerabilities as well as instructing personnel on identifying and correcting compromises in IT systems.
-Provide the required automated network vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, application vulnerability scanning, and device configuration assessment to ensure Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) compliance by using the Tenable Network Security Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
-Execute on the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) on DON information systems.
-Perform IT security with a broad range of security technologies.

Performance of IA and cyber testing in accordance with user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands, doctrine, and policies.

-Conduct of security assessments and provision of security testing consulting services.

-Support to preparing and/or maintaining systems, programming and operations documentation, and procedures and methods, including user manuals, reference manuals, etc.

Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer engineering, or related field is required.
Five (5) years of experience in local/wide area networks, workstation/personal computer installation and maintenance, and/or operation of application computer networks.
IAT Level 2 or higher
IT Level-I designation

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Preferred:
Recent experience in Linux cluster management software (e.g. Rocks Cluster).
Experience with System Hardening with standards such as the DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and SCAP.
Repository and version control tools such as GitLab.
IAT Level II (Linux +, Sec +) certification.

Preferred certifications such as ISC2, GIAC GSLC, CISM ISACA
