Job Summary
Amentum is currently searching for an Australian Registered Nurse (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) to work at our location in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in our accreditated General Practice clinic. Patients are company employees, partners and family members.
Medical clinical environment with typical hazards associated with family (adult and child) care practice (for example, bloodborne pathogens, sharps, communicable diseases), occasional lifting to 40 pounds, using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing/management skills, must be able to work under deadlines. Some work in other environments may be necessary in emergency response situations.
Minimum Requirements
- Australian Citizenship and Australian Nursing Registration
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in general practice adult care setting
- 3-5 years nursing experience
- Australian NV-1 security clearance (preferred at start or ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency in two or more specialized areas of occupational health, such as: occupational toxicology, ergonomics, hearing conservation, employee fitness - including cardiac health, workplace violence, stress management, workers' compensation, and health education. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
