Central Plant Manager

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Amentum is seeking a Central Plant Manager for an upcoming opportunity supporting a facilities operations and maintenance contract.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Responsible for directing and managing all Contractor personnel at the Central Plant.
  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Central Plant, and its equipment and systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a current U.S government Top Secret security clearance, SCI eligibility, and a polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering or a closely related field, and 12 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of major Central Plants, to include experience as an operations supervisor of a steam (100,000 lb/hr or greater capacity) and chilled water (8,000 t/hr or greater capacity) plant.
  • OR High school, vocational school, or trade school diploma or equivalent, and either: 12 years of related engineering field experience in major infrastructure systems including power, steam, and chilled water systems, including experience as an operations supervisor of a steam (100,000 lb/hr or greater capacity) and chilled water (8,000 t/hr or greater capacity) plant; OR 12 years of related engineering field experience in the management, operation, and maintenance of major Central Plants, including experience as an operations supervisor of a steam (100,000 lb/hr or greater capacity) and chilled water (8,000 t/hr or greater capacity) plant.
  • A thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience in generator operation.
  • Personnel management experience, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of facilities monitoring and control systems.
