Job Summary
Amentum is seeking a Plumber to support our team in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for maintaining and upgrading plumbing equipment, piping, etc. Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on all plumbing-related equipment. Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a Top Secret security clearance.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Installs and/or repairs plumbing equipment (water heaters, drinking fountains, toilets, sinks, etc.) throughout the facility.
- Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
- Performs other maintenance-related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Four years of experience as a plumber or completion of a certified apprenticeship program.
- DC journeyman's (minimum) plumber license.
- Certification in backflow prevention.
- Must possess active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance if required by site.
- Possess a state-issued driver's license.
