Logistics Manager
Job Summary
Purpose: Responsible Manager for Wholesale Supply Operations (to include Accountability, UIC management, and CRSP). Primary Point of Contact (POC) for direct correspondence with Accountable Office (AO); monitors, inventory, and verifies all data pertaining to Logistic Information Management Systems (LIMS) that reports Army Prepositioned Stocks – 2 (APS-2) MTOE equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Generate detailed reports from GCSS-Army, Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS).
- Able to correspond with AO and provide detailed analysis to the AO for informed decision-making process.
- Able to accurately process Inventory Adjustment Reports (IARs) for review, submittal and approval.
- Coordinates between other outside Contractors and the Government in the fielding of new equipment to the APS-2 stock.
- Able to write and understand External and Internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure 100 percent accountability of all assigned APS-2 equipment, equipment is on-hand and reflected accurately in the relevant LIMS.
- Ensure the accurate reporting of all assigned APS-2 equipment in the relevant LIMS.
- Responsible to ensure all APS-2 equipment and is brought to record within timeframes and identifies frustrated items entering the APS-2 stock.
- Responsible to ensure all equipment that enters APS-2 CRSP is brought to record within 24 hours for sensitive items and 72 hours for items other than sensitive.
- Responsible to ensure that all scheduled inventories for APS-2 equipment are conducted, and ensures all data entered during inventories is accurate in the relevant LIMS.
- Conducts item research using GCSS-A, AWRDS, LMP, and Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) to include frustrated items.
- Corrects errors in paperwork and/or relevant LIMS data and reports all errors promptly to Supply Manager.
- Conducts inventories and performs quality checks on ELIDs and serial numbers.
- Ensures all personnel understand and follow all Company and Government policies, procedures, and directives.
- Ensure all personnel follow all Safety directives for APS-2.
- Able to interact professionally with PM, COO, GM and other managers in decision making and strategic planning.
- Maintain daily timesheets and daily manning reports ensuring correct times are accurate.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining metrics for their department that accurately reflect performance
Minimum Requirements
Qualification & Experience Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience with a minimum of 5 years of Manager Responsibilities. Prior military experience is a plus. Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Considered an expert in the following LIM systems: GSSC-Army, AWRDS, LMP, and LIW
- Current certifications on GSSC-Army
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all LIMS access requirements (Common Access Card).
- Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
