Job Summary

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Facilities Operation Manager is responsible for all facets of facilities operations and maintenance, with a direct line of communication to the COR. Facility services relate to new construction, remodeling, building maintenance, and rearrangement, including assuring compliance with all applicable codes, rules, regulations, laws, and Company standards. Work requires knowledge of cost estimating, planning and scheduling techniques.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manages a single contract with low financial risk and low complexity.
  • Ensures that the day-to-day operations are responsive to client requirements.
  • Plans, organizes, schedules, and directs the daily performance of contract requirements for the operation, maintenance, repair, construction, and related logistical support services.
  • Determines staffing requirements and manages budget.
  • Ensures required training is conducted and required employee certifications are attained.
  • Participates in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures for the organization’s facility and contractual operations.
  • Accountable for facility and contract performance, fiscal/resource stewardship, cost effective business operations.
  • Prepares annual operating budget in cooperation with business manager or corporate financial department.
  • Informs/communicates facility/project performance, accomplishments, milestones and essential information to appropriate management/clients on scheduled/recurring basis.
  • Ensures business operations are properly resourced for cost-efficient and effective business practices.
  • Ensures quality standards are met in compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental codes and standards (e.g. Company PEPs, ISO certification, and OSHA/EPA requirements).
  • Implements cost-effective technology changes whenever possible. Uses own initiative and judgment in performing majority of duties.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Must possess a Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility and a polygraph.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited 4 year engineering program with a Bachelors in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • Required 10 years of experience working on government contracts in engineering, construction management, or facilities operations capacity.
  • 5 years supervisory experience, managing a workforce of 50-100 people.
  • 1 year experience working with SCADA/EMCS control systems.
  • Must have experience/working knowledge of CMMS or other CMMS.
