Site Operations Manager

The Site Operations Manager is the primary manager for the development and execution of production plans for the Storage, Maintenance, Inspection and Reconstitution of USAF Assets to meet contractual requirements. Acts as Senior Coordinator responsible for Implementation and Control of the Amentum Quality Control, Safety, and Training and Environmental Protection Plans. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).

Principal Accountabilities

  • Provides a high level of Direction, Oversight and ensures effective utilization of Manpower, Equipment, and Facility resources to support Production, Maintenance and Storage.
  • Coordinates efforts of Functional/Production Managers in support of Site Production Goals.
  • Monitors and controls implementation of the Amentum Quality Control, Safety, Training, and Environmental Plans and the activity of QC, Environmental and Safety Inspectors.
  • Manages Site Quality Management System (QMS) Inputs.
  • Monitors and reviews contractual reports to ensure they are complete and accurate prior to submission to the Site Manager for approval.
  • Monitors and controls preparation of assets for shipment in support of Exercises and Taskings as directed by Program Management.
  • Allocates priorities for shipment of assets by Land, Sea or Air.
  • Directs and controls all Site Manpower and Equipment Resources during times of a High Operations Tempo.
  • Provides oversight for Site Quality, Safety and Environmental.
  • Will have Operational decision-making of the Munitions Department and will provide guidance and direction to the Munitions Operations Manager and staff when needed.
  • Acts as Site Manager during times of absence.
  • Provides Oversight for the Standard Base Supply System.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Works in normal office environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
  • Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Operational experience in management and motivation of a large multi-national workforce overseas, or 5 years' experience as an Amentum/DynCorp employee with a proven record of management capability in a multi skilled environment is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Light to moderate lifting as required carried out in an office environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Logistics experience in military operations is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of 10 years Management experience in an Engineering or Maintenance discipline, 5 years of which must have been in the military or a military related organization preferred.
