Program Manager _Joint Foreign Materiel Program Office (JFMPO)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Amentum is seeking a program manager (PM) to support to the Joint Foreign Materiel Program (FMP) Office and Captured Materiel Exercises, Engagements and Operations within the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. Program Manager should have OCONUS FM operational support experience.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Administrative: coordination for exercises and operations; assist the Government in coordinating activities, travel, and availability of personnel. Develop an Exercise Operations Order/Plan for all aspects of the exercise.
  • Communication: create periodic status reports and briefings, maintain activity reports, create, and maintain a phone/email roster of JCMEC Government and contractor points of contact. Document the specific objectives of each exercise, engagement/event, or operational activity assigned. Document the Government's assessment of whether each objective was achieved or not.
  • Exercise & Operational Support: organize the delivery of goods and expert personnel in support of exercises and operations when needed. Assist Government Agencies in planning and executing the safe acquisition, delivery, and exploitation of foreign materiel to the United States as required by the Government.
  • Planning; create a I-year calendar of FMP timelines, milestones, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and after-action reports (AARs), for exercises and other planned activities. Draft contingency plans for alternative mission scenarios; create and maintain, exercises and other planned activities.
  • Deployments: support/coordinate the deployment of Government and/or contract personnel under this SOW and support deployment mission manager activities and requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 15 yrs experience in related field
  • Five years of program management experience managing cost, schedule, and performance requirements
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and align cross-project activities
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in a dynamic environment through situational analysis and informed decision making
  • Experience in the planning and execution of FMP events, exercises, seminars
  • Travel estimated at 30-40% of the time
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and ability to pass a CI Polygraph

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Specific experience in OCONUS FM operational support
  • PMP certification
