Deputy Program Manager

Amentum is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to be a part of a geographically dispersed team responsible for the management of program activities in multiple disciplines covering technical and/or non-technical areas

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage program activities in multiple disciplines covering technical and/or non-technical areas.
• Monitors program schedules and budgets and ensures that milestones and cost objectives are met.
• Develop detailed staffing requirements, assignments and plans to meet customer needs.
• Provides a single point of contact for the customer to coordinate program priorities and goals.
• Retains ultimate responsibility for the dedication of company resources to meet program goals on time and within budget.
• Coordinate the investigation and resolution of operational problems in conjunction with other personnel.
• Lead Agile team training and implement, track, and assess Agile processes used in projects.
• Recruits and hires appropriate management, technical, and administrative personnel to ensure the accomplishment of program and contract requirements.
• Provides a variety of related support as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline complimented by further academic work or an advanced degree.
• Demonstrated experience in progressively more responsible management positions totaling 8 or more years.
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent required.
• Supervisory knowledge and skills in resource organization and allocation, personnel selection and assignment, planning and budgeting.
• The position requires significant technical knowledge in the area of program management.
• Possess a current state issued driver’s license.
• Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
