Operations Manager
**This position is contingent upon contract award**
Amentum is seeking an Operations Manager for an upcoming opportunity supporting a facilities operations and maintenance contract.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for directing the Contractor’s Central Plant, Utilities, Buildings, and Grounds, managing the daily operations and maintenance activities.
- Review business systems administration, resources, procedures, and methods to improve operational effectiveness, utility, and efficiency.
- Establish procedures and develop and implement programs to increase efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Provide technical support to operating entities.
- Interpret and implement maintenance policy.
- Act as the l point of contact for customer interface.
- May serve as Acting Program Manager in their absence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a current U.S government Top Secret security clearance, SCI eligibility, and a polygraph.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering, business, or a closely related field, and 8 years’ experience in management-level positions.
- OR A high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma or equivalent, 8 years of related engineering field or business experience, and 8 years’ experience in management-level positions.
- Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of facilities engineering, maintenance, repair, and operations.
