IT Systems Manager
Amentum is seeking an IT Systems Manager to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. In this role, you will manage and provide support in various IT disciplines including software development and support, server administration, and networks. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and administrative leadership.
- Provide input and recommendations for business application development and maintenance using Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.Net, and C#.
- Provide input and recommendations for a team of Network Engineers and Technicians who maintain and implement Cisco network solutions in a business environment as well as a range support environment.
- Oversee system upgrade strategies.
- Provide input and recommendations for DoD security.
- compliance on all relevant systems, through vulnerability scanning, group policy updates, and patch remediation using approved software tools.
- Interface with a mix of disciplinary groups on IT project implementations.
- Interface with other managers and customers to provide business solutions.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of job-related experience or 10 years of IT enterprise support.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
- Must meet IA certification requirements, which includes Security+.
- Technical Certification such as CCNA preferred.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.
- Valid driver’s license and passport will be required.
