The Senior Training Manager provides oversight and manages training programs conducted by assigned instructors. The Senior Training Manger also provides oversight and is responsible for the management of training through the use of Training/Learning Management System.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Training Manager provides oversight and manages training programs conducted by the assigned personnel to include. Supervise and manage the daily conduct of training courses. Forecast, schedule, monitor and report the recurring training-related resource requirements for all training programs. Provide status reports on class and student training progress. Synchronize training events with all primary and support organizations though regularly scheduled training planning meetings. Deconflict training schedules. Maintain individual training records for all training personnel. Supervise a small staff training managers and technicians. Provide oversight of the Training/Learning Management System (TMS). Provide oversight of the scheduling of classes. Provide oversight of the tracking of individual progress. Ensure status reports are provided as required. Recommend changes to improve performance of all training programs. The Senior Training Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Training SOP. Other duties as assigned and or directed by management. Required to operate independently and be proactive in the day-to-day training operations. Supervise a small staff training managers and technicians.
Education Level: Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years training management experience (Army).
Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Experience with the use of a training management system. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to be used in the preparation of reports, charts, and other required products. DD214 required for military experience. Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include medical, drug testing, background checks etc. Must be able to pass a drivers license test.
