Technical Support Specialist
Amentum is seeking an Information Technologist to support the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) under the Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) construct. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support for a range of applications, systems, and networks. This role requires the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to solve complex problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for systems, applications, and networks in the PEO IWS environment.
- Respond to and resolve escalated technical issues from end-users in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis on technical issues and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for supported systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new systems and applications.
- Conduct training and provide technical guidance to end-users as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree from accredited University
- In Lieu of Masters degree, High School diploma, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Experience with Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)
- Experience with Data/Information Management Planning
- Experience monitoring of data centers, technical service centers, help desks, communication networks (voice and data), computer systems operations and maintenance, integrated data environments technical.
- Experience managing support for the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) equipment and facilities
- * Position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) position with certification for [411 - Technical Support Specialist] Advanced (IAT Level III equivalent)
- The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with high-level digital transformation strategy and execution, to include both hardware and software
- Experience with Department of the Navy
- Experience with NAVSEA 03
