Technical Writer / Publisher - Senior
Job Summary
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Amentum is seeking a Senior Technical Writer / Publisher in Fort Belvoir, VA to prepare technical manuals, articulation of specifications, doctrinal materials, detailed reports, training materials and support plans, logistic and fielding plans, graphic and training aids for PEO Soldier programs.
Responsibilities:
- Guide, aid and / or manage others in the analysis, design, development, planning and execution of product services and processes.
- Work on complex projects which require original thinking and new approaches.
- Set priorities and ensures that the work products for the group conform to company and customer standards.
- Plan, conduct and manage assignments, review progress and evaluates results, works with other technical and administrative disciplines, perform top‐level analysis/research.
- Plan, organize, lead and carry out several projects or leads a major function or project, typically with responsibility for activities of a group of primary staff and support staff, or with responsibility for an important and complex area of research and investigation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be currently working on a PM IVAS contract.
- Must be a U.S citizen.
- Must possess a valid Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of experience
