Analytics User Support - Watson Health

IntroductionWork independently and collaboratively as part of a team that delivers healthcare analytics and consulting services to large U.S. based employer and health plan clients.Your Role and Responsibilities+ Runs and analyses data using IBM Watson Health's proprietary database to support client needs using basic skills in statistics and database management.+ Completes quality assignments on time and manages sub-tasks within budget.+ Produces standard report packages on an ongoing basis to support client needs.+ Displays basic understanding of healthcare and claims data+ Handles basic user questions independently (e.g., requests for ad hoc reporting assistance) as well as communicates with the U.S. team and client end users.+ Conducts thorough self-review of all work.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Demonstrates effective time management; manages multiple tasks simultaneously, while completing work within allocated time.+ Takes initiative as an individual and as part of a team and demonstrates problem solving ability.+ Applies intermediate PC skills; experienced in Microsoft Office applications Excel and Word.+ Strong oral and written communication skills.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ 2-3 years experience in the healthcare industry and/or quantitative work+ Demonstrated capability to use a programming language to query big data+ Has experience and knowledge of U.S. healthcare system+ Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Applied Mathematics), or equivalent education and experience.About Business UnitIBM's Cloud and Cognitive software business is committed to bringing the power of IBM's Cloud and Watson/AI technologies to life for our clients and ecosystem partners around the world.
