Role will primarily involve assisting the marketing team in results reviewing and analysis. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys reviewing daily/weekly/monthly results reporting and sifting through data. This person should be able to communicate the findings to the team/management along with recommendations associated with messaging, marketing strategy and/or channel optimizations.

Candidate will also assist in day-to-day marketing activities and will directly support the Associate Director and is comfortable working on multiple projects at same time. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and managing to key-performance indicator (KPI) metrics
  • Working closely with other marketers in matrixed environment
  • Working with legal/compliance/regulatory affairs to solve problems (filing, objections, messaging, etc.)
  • Run ad hoc reports
  • Ad hoc assistance of remediation of reporting issues, challenges, and data anomalies. (Must be able to wear investigation hat)
  • Creation of direct-response marketing materials
  • Support team in presentations and meeting/gathering administration and ownership (helping to run meetings and agenda creation)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Owns output at task level
  • Coordinates work activities with supervisors or project owners
  • Develops plans to meet short-term objectives
  • Develop, manage and maintain relationships with internal (product, sales, operations, legal, creative, etc.) and external stakeholders and keep them informed about marketing initiatives
  • Use data and analytics to assist with the implementation of marketing campaign tactics and to maximize use of appropriate marketing channels (e.g. social media, email, digital display, direct mail and TV)
  • Influence and implement marketing strategies that differentiate AARP Medicare Supplement plans in the marketplace and position us as market leaders
  • Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Use attention to detail to assist in preparing presentations or analyzing data
  • Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables
  • Experience with end-to-end marketing campaign execution (concepting, execution, lead generation, attribution, results)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word, etc.)

Preferred Qualifcations:

  • Experience demonstrating organization skills
  • Healthcare Industry background
  • Experience in Medicare
  • Experience working with external partners
  • Comfortable working in a team environment, sometimes supporting projects driven by different project owners
  • Can work in a highly regulated environment (state/federal regulations)
  • Can analyze and synthesize research findings and results reporting and bring those to life in messaging and/or marketing strategy
  • Self-starter- someone who can work with some ambiguity
