Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage and be accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors
  • Coordinate and supervise daily/weekly/monthly activities of team members
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and performance goals are met
  • Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, managers, departments, etc.
  • Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment
  • Provide coaching, feedback and annual performance reviews as well as formal corrective action
  • Take major role in setting direction and participating in or developing new programs
  • Ensure team meets established performance metrics, outcomes and defined customer performance guarantees
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges as documented within reports and data
  • Influence or provide input to forecasting and planning activities
  • Responsible for tracking and trending data, reporting team key performance metrics, measuring outcomes and implementing process improvement initiatives
  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and / or customers (internal or external)
  • Work to establish a regular meeting schedules and check-ins with Implementation team members

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience including leading operations and/or business process improvement initiatives, integrating the voice of internal and external constituents
  • Experience managing projects
  • Health care industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Call Center Experience
  • Demonstrated high emotional intelligence
  • Proven ability to influence with and without direct management/authority
  • Demonstrated superior customer/consultant relationship management and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to drive a cross-functional team that produces value

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
