This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work an 8 hour shift during our normal business hours of (8:00am – 5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 1600 McConnor Parkway, Schaumburg, IL.

Primary Responsibility:

  • Responsible for the daily support of the sales function to minimize the administrative work of the Regional Medicare Sales teams.
  • Responsibilities include gathering sales data, communicating changes to sales plans, providing knowledge about customers and competitors, and managing the operational logistics of sales meetings and activities.
  • Works closely with sales and other functional leaders to develop and maintain the operational infrastructure supporting sales recruiting, training and onboarding, troubleshooting, and sales-related information systems and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, sales and/or sales support experience
  • Current Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one within 90 days
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (create, edit and save documents), Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save, formulas), Microsoft PowerPoint (create, edit and save slide decks and present virtually), Microsoft Outlook (email, folders, calendaring, including team calendars)
  • Ability to work from 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance. Preferred Requirements:

  • Medicare, insurance or financial services industry experience
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (ability to speak)
  • Current Health Insurance License
