The Patient Experience team is responsible for driving high impact, market-wide efforts to improve our patients’ experience inside and outside of the clinic, thereby promoting greater member retention, positive word of mouth and overall business growth. Key priorities for the team include: building a patient-centered service culture (consistent delivery of “gold service” standards), clinician communication training and coaching, team member training and leader development, site-level patient experience action planning, and overall metric reporting and management process.
The Associate Business Operations Coordinator, Patient Experience will be responsible for providing project coordination and administrative support to the Patient Experience department in support of Optum initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists with data review and interpretation for project implementation including reviewing patient comments to flag for risk and misconduct as well as identifying patterns within the comments
- Supports with program coordination including scheduling of clinician trainings and coaching sessions as well as assisting with facilitating the workflow of meetings and trainings
- Maintains and organize department documentation and communications including the Patient Experience SharePoint, Team inboxes, and the shared drive
- Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years and up to and including 3 years of experience
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in a project-based organization
- Experience with project management and business analysis
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Computer literate
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Writer
- Ability to type 55 wpm
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
- Proven ability to synthesize verbal conversations into writing
- Detail-orientation and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals in all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, ask questions, prioritize and multi-task
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and behavior at all times

California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.00 to $23.13.
