With a legacy beginning in 1902, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College has a strong tradition of educating health care professionals.
Goldfarb School of Nursing is located on the Washington University Medical Campus in St. Louis and is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital, with a second site at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Role Purpose
The Academic Coordinator position is integral to the daily operations of the College. The Academic Coordinator provides administrative support to the Program Directors and the Academic Leadership team. This includes work in both the undergraduate and/or graduate programs. Assists with managing schedules, rooms, and instructional supplies.
Responsibilities
Attend committee meetings. Prepare and post meeting minutes into Knowledge Base.Prepare and distribute communications, such as memos, e-mails, reports, committee minutes and other correspondence as needed. Demonstrates the use of advanced features of Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookPrepare and assist with accreditation documents, program evaluation reports, and other relevant benchmark/dashboard data within Academic Programs, such as Typhon, TAMS, ATI, NCLEX reports and curricular needs.Assists with new student orientation and Pledge Ceremony at beginning of term and Honors convocation, Sigma, Commencement at end of term.Supports faculty with coordinating travel arrangements, expense reports, ordering office supplies.
