As the Audit & Compliance Coordinator, you will be vital to our success and drive quality improvements and operating efficiency for internal/external audits representing Operations. You will join a team of Operations leaders and play a vital role in ensuring we consistently meet and exceed market expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary resource to coordinate and respond to compliance audits or new requirements on behalf of the operations team
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of process flows and other documentation to support audits and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in SOX audits, acting as lead to gather and deliver requested information from the audit team, ensuring internal team collaboration to meet critical deadlines
  • Collaborate with the Configuration teams to support process changes
  • Promote understanding of audit controls and monitor actions in coordination with the Operations team
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures relative to SOX processes
  • Works directly with internal/external auditors on action plans and remediation
  • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance only on complex tasks
  • Provides explanations and information to teams, leadership and auditors
  • Hosting and participating in meetings as a Subject Matter Expert

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience of internal or external compliance audits
  • 2+ years of project management
  • 2+ years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements, creating user stories, and developing workflows
  • Solid knowledge of HealthCare systems business end-to-end processes
  • Solid knowledge in use of Applications such as Visio, Word, Excel, Teams, Powerpoint and Access


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years working with Medicare, Medicaid or Commercial products
  • Experience supporting SOX compliance and audits
  • Experience performing and documenting User Acceptance Test results
  • Experience with claims or configuration operations
