Entity: The Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania

Location: 3600 Civic Center, CPUP

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Department: Department of Professional Development & Education


The Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the student placement & workforce pipeline process, coordinating professional development/recognition activities, and supporting administrative functions of the professional development department. This role serves as the central contact for proactively identifying, communicating, and problem-solving program, scheduling, and student placement issues. Collaboration and communication across entity leadership is required to support departmental functioning and success. The role provides expertise in administrative and project coordination, communications, and event management.

Additional Responsibilities:

Manages student placement process via coordination and communication with entity leaders, academic programs, workforce vendors, students.

Organize and establish meetings on regular basis with designated individuals to foster positive relationships with leaders.

Provides administrative support to professional development department as needed

Plans and executes educational activities, special events, award programs, and recognition activities.

Establishes customer focused performance expectations by creating clearly defined performance goals and measures.

Maintains strict compliance with managing both confidential information as well as financial records.

Attends meetings as required, participates on committees as requested, and provides necessary follow-up support to advance initiatives that support Operations.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

H.S. Diploma/GED and 3 years Healthcare, Academic or Customer Service related experience (Required)

Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
