Summary:

  • Assists with the administrative functions of the Penn Transplant Institute Center for Living Donation for the living donor kidney, liver, and uterus programs. Responsibilities will include participating in OR case scheduling, record collection and packaging to support paired-exchange cases, organization and support of living donor schedules, clinics, and meetings. Perform varied tasks to support the Center for Living Donation requiring judgment in problem-solving and knowledge of departmental and institutional policies and procedures. Continually works to ensure the smooth operation and workflow of the department. Handles time-sensitive and confidential information. (HUP - Living Donor Transplant - 3400 Spruce Street)

Responsibilities:

  • Performs complex administrative functions for the division management team (Regulatory and Policy Compliance, Project Management Support.)
  • Work with department leadership on monthly budget and expense management for the administrative locations.
  • Demonstrates exemplary organizational skills and has ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
  • Uses acquired knowledge to make division processes and practices effective and efficient in line with department standards.
  • Promotes a team environment that values employee satisfaction and professional ownership.
  • Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED And 2+ years Administrative Support is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Management/Health Care Admin is preferred.
