IntroductionAs an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.Your Role and Responsibilities* Engage and inspire our teams and our clients to shape and deliver technology transformation across health based on a track record of success in services work across the health and life sciences sectors* Execute data strategy engagements by understanding the client's overall business strategy and requirements and being able to translate this into a data strategy* Design data analytics solutions from classic data warehousing data lake to big data solutions and hybrid platforms considering cloud and on prem* Ability to create conceptual logical and physical data models and define standards principles and methods to guide the development of those models*Leverage insights of NHS data taxonomies governance requirements and interoperability standards to integrate approachRequired Technical and Professional Expertise* Understanding and experience of the opportunities of digital transformation, cognitive insights and emerging technologies on organisational strategy, structure and process* Proven capability in shaping and delivering insights and programmes using digital and technology in health* Understand the impact of emerging trends in the healthcare industry in data tools, analysis techniques and data usage. Be able to transfer and adapt analytical solutions from other industries to healthcare and life science industry.* Experience working with health data and information models such as FHIR, OMOP CDM, HL7, O-HERA including work with real-world evidence and clinical models to deliver client solutions* Understanding of key ecosystem partners across the health and life sciences sectorPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise* Track record of developing and sustaining senior client relationships across the health and/or life sciences sectors to enable initiation and delivery of projects* Experienced in digital transformation and change management involving clinicians, nurses and allied health professionals* Experience working within a highly- matrixed organisation and able to influence and drive change in such an environment including experience leveraging virtual teams to deliver at scale and pace* Ability to identify, attract, supervise and nurture junior talentAbout Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
