Parkland Health Center includes two locations in Missouri — a full-service acute care hospital in Farmington as well as a three-bed critical access hospital in Bonne Terre. Parkland Health Center provides quality primary and secondary level inpatient and outpatient services to the people of St. Francois County and surrounding areas in southeastern Missouri.

Parkland’s Farmington campus offers a full continuum of inpatient and medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, geriatric psychiatry and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including oncology services, an infusion center, a wound care clinic, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center. The Parkland Bonne Terre campus includes emergency services, inpatient services for patients meeting specific criteria, and a sleep study lab.

The Security department provides support for maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, guests, and staff on a 24 hour basis.


Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Patrol designated areas within the hospital complex to provide a safe, secure environment for patients, visitors, staff property, with emphasis on customer service and all other duties as required.

Responsibilities

Individuals must be 21 years or older to work in this position.Ensures equipment issued and used during the execution of duties is properly maintained.Provides continuous security patrols of all areas of the medical center.Mitigates crisis situations such as code responses, responding to disturbances, fires and disaster drills and situations.Ensures proper documentation is completed on all patrol vehicles. Responsible for documenting incident reports.Responds to emergency situations according to approved, established protocol.
