Optum Health Services has opportunities for EAP Customer Service Representatives. The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for inbound EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) and behavioural client calls. You’ll have the opportunity to put your communication and decision-making skills to the test in a fast-paced environment, all while making a positive impact with each and every conversation.

Work Schedule: Fixed Shifts between the hours of 09:00 – 21:00 with the requirement to work 1 weekend in 3. Flexible scheduling in an extended hours operation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact to inbound client EAP and Behavioral support calls
  • Triage calls – Carry out telephonic intake then transfer to suitable support department
  • Return client calls in a timely manner
  • Log calls into the appropriate Case Management system
  • Various administration and support responsibilities (including monitoring email inboxes)

Qualifications - External

Required Qualifications:

  • Computer literate, experience of working with MS Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Good time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Call Center experience
  • Experience multitasking and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in an EAP environment
