As a VA CCN Network Analyst, you'll dig into data to investigate root causes of network performance. You'll roll up your sleeves as you assist with projects and collaborate on network deliverables. In this role, you will build relationships across the program and network teams in order to make meaningful improvements that will positively impact Veteran’s lives and improve the VA’s Health System. This position requires solid analytical skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment as well as be comfortable with management exposure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and audit provider network accessibility using deliverables and other available network performance objective reporting to proactively identify potential gaps. Track progress toward closing the identified gap
  • Work with the regional Network Directors, CCET Leadership, and Veteran Experience Officers (VEO’s) to anticipate and monitor customers trends for demands on care, develop plans, and sets goals that lead to improved network effectiveness and efficiency for each VAMC and VISN
  • Collaborate with Business partners to complete all required network related deliverables, for on time delivery to the customer
  • Manages assigned deliverables and maintains deliverables status tracking system, including future deliverables planning
  • Assists Program leadership with making data-based decisions to enhance contract performance
  • Analyze data to solve a wide variety of business problems and creation of data visualizations (Tableau and/or Power BI) that drive strategic vision
  • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with key upstream and downstream partners
  • Identify and interpret provider data leading to insight and communicating corrective action needed
  • Perform root cause analysis of provider data issues and give recommendations to correct
  • Leverage existing talent and expertise within department to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years related experience in data analysis and data management
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office programs, with advanced Excel capabilities
  • Experience in managing data to support and influence decisions on day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and specific business performance issues (deliverables)
  • Experience planning, prioritizing, organizing, and completing complex work efforts to meet established objectives
  • Experience presenting and communicating data findings to a variety of stakeholders
  • US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care, Business or other related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience
  • DHA / VA / Government contract experience
  • Experience with Data Visualization Tools (Tableau)
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in provider network management
  • Military and/or VA experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
