Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in coding for
    • Outpatient - ICD10 / CPT (Hospital / Physician / Professional)
      • Emergency Department
      • Surgery
      • Ancillary
    • Inpatient – ICDCM / PCS
  • Ability to deliver / build coding knowledge proficiency
    • Should have handled coding operations
    • Delivered Quality of 98% with required productivity
    • Monitor / Upskill through content development
    • Industry knowledge and presence – Part of AAPC / AHIMA chapters
    • Should have presented white papers / lead knowledge discussions at external forums
  • People Skill
    • Maintain 90% of employee satisfaction scores
    • Champion engagement and mentoring teams
    • Ability to handle highly skilled teams across PHL / India (Team of Nurses, Doctors and clinicians
  • Project Implementation and Governance – Operational
    • Project Planning as per specific customer’s needs
    • Analyze Request for proposal (RFP)
    • Resolution of problem arising within project plan, if any
    • Implement SLA and monitor to ensure high level operational efficiency by staffing and training employee at the right time, assigning and directing work, rewarding and disciplining FTEs, resolving conflicts etc..
    • Create, modify and/or maintain performance goals +objectives and business workflow
    • Communicate effectively with internal / external stakeholders for strategy implementation
    • Data Analysis and reporting of project performance dashboard to senior leadership and / or client
    • Strategic and Business planning
    • Monitor P&L and work towards improving it year on year by monitoring monthly expenses and stopping any financial loss immediately
    • Create business review reports (QBR, MBOs etc…)
    • Develop corrective action plans to address any operational issues highlighted by stakeholders
    • Ensure that given company policies etc… are adhered by the team
    • Demonstrate understanding of and adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
    • Monitor various compliance reports related to - utilization, absenteeism, downtimes, overtime etc.. To ensure smooth business functioning
    • Work along with different business function (e.g. hiring, transitions, training, admin, IT, etc..) to absorb new business
    • Utilize various systems and tools to identify and implement efficiency improvement steps
    • Develops and drives strategies and programs which improve the competitive position and profitability of the organization
    • Plan for BCP implementation in advance to be ready when needed
    • Approve QVC payout each quarter
    • Approve Concur reports submitted by team members
    • AllSec approvals for overtime / attendance exceptions / and other exception which require approval from SG29
    • Future forecasting of business process and planning of IT assets proactively
    • Certification from AAPC / AHIMA preferred
    • High intermediate / Advanced level of data analytical skill
    • Inculcate company culture

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 12+ experience in leadership, healthcare, customer service or patient experience-related field
  • CCS (AHIMA) required, any additional qualification like CPC / CIC / COC (AAPC) will be added advantage
  • Strong facilitation and organizational development skills
