BJC Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Pulmonary Physician to join our growing team at our beautiful clinic attached to Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Illinois, just 15 minutes from St. Louis.

Position Details:

· Currently 6 BC Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians and 4 APPs

· Mostly outpatient with some inpatient consults

- Limited Critical Care coverage. Hospital has a fulltime 24/7 intensivist team

- Ability to pick up ICU shifts is optional and paid extra

· EMR-EPIC

· Highly established primary care referral network

· Strong organizational support and recognition

Position Details:

• Currently 6 BC Pulmonary Physicians and 4 APPs
• Mix of clinic and inpatient rounds – 75% outpatient; 25% inpatient
• Limited Critical Care coverage. Hospital has a fulltime 24/7 intensivist team through Washington University School of Medicine Intensivists
• Ability to pick up ICU shifts is optional and paid extra
• EPIC EMR
• Highly established primary care referral network (be busy right away!)
• Strong organizational support and mentorship

Role Purpose
