Role Purpose

Responsible for directing patient care operations for Peri-operative services. Role model service excellence and builds teams that collaborate with others to serve and exceed the expectations of the hospital's customers. Champions pro-active employee relations, manages conflict and/or change towards a productive outcomes. Strives for continuous improvement and business results that meet/exceed every customer's expectation. Promotes the safety and well-being of all patients and employees within department.

Responsibilities

Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.Plans, develops, and directs functions of peri-operative services.Creates an environment of patient care that emphasizes service excellence with a strong preference for continuous performance improvement. Analyzes trends and statistics to promote efficient utilization of resources.Coordinates patient care with an appreciation of the complex needs of the multidisciplinary teamDevelops goals for peri-operative service that align with organizational goals.
