The Department of the Physical Plant of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Full-Time Multi-Skilled Plumber:

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, installation and repair of plumbing and drain systems and plumbing equipment.
• Testing and performing preventive maintenance on plumbing related equipment.
• When needed, perform repairs and installation of basic Electrical systems; HVAC systems; Carpentry and Lock repairs; Painting, Patching and Wall Coverings.

Credentials:

  • Philadelphia Journeyman License (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • High School graduate or GED (Required)
  • 4 years of specialized training or a recognized 4-year apprenticeship course (Required)
  • A minimum of 4 years full time plumbing experience with a bona fide plumbing contractor or employer (Required)
  • Experience in Healthcare facilities (Preferred)
