Primary Responsibilities:

  • Daily operations include Batch monitoring for TWS/d & TWS/z, WellMed and VMS jobs on a 7x24x365 operations covering 12hrs of rotational support roster
  • The resource will also, provide technical proficiency in production support activities ensuring 100% completion of ITSM ServiceNow Incident, Change, Problem and Service request, perform other tasks deemed necessary by management in enhancing support experience
  • Handle level 1 and 2 batch abend & escalations, provide daily status report and adhere to agreed SLA and security compliance for (Optum, UHG, UHC)
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. IT Operations experience may be considered as a substitute
  • 5 -7 years in an IT Operations role with progressive responsibility
  • Experience working with Application Support Teams on batch remediation efforts
  • Working knowledge of Batch Scheduling Systems such as Control M, TWS, CA-7
  • General knowledge of Distributed Systems Batch Processing. (Unix and Wintel OS)
  • Customer Service oriented, always desiring a positive experience and excellent people skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic CICS and MVS console commands
  • Knowledge and experience with incident, change and problem management tools
  • Knowledge of Change Management Best Practices
  • Knowledge of and experience with IT Automation and Monitoring tools
