Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a 10-week internship program that includes training around aspects of project management including collaboration in coordinating and implementing sales and corporate-related initiatives by:
  • Assisting in the development of project scope and objectives
  • Supporting multiple internal stakeholders to meet project requirements and deadlines, as well as identify and resolve issues
  • Aiding project work teams on a daily/weekly basis to meet defined goals and objectives
  • Helping monitor and track project progress
  • Assisting to create and maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation and reports
  • Experience to include networking opportunities, basic technical skills training, speaker series, and additional enrichment activities throughout the summer program.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $16.00 to $17.07. The hourly range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $16.00 to $19.18. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
