Northwest HealthCare, located six miles west of Christian Hospital, provides the community 24-hour emergency care, with Washington University Physicians and St. Louis Children’s Hospital providing pediatric services. Northwest HealthCare is also home to the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of full-service outpatient diagnostic and imaging services in a convenient setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Assists with long term monitoring vital to patient care in the observation of patients with cardiac arrhythmia, suspected arrhythmia, drug intervention per floor with need for observation, and potential of life threatening cardiac events. Initiates first response and responders to at risk patients.
Responsibilities
Supports and demonstrates the continuous improvements of quality and service.Observes, reports, and documents patient?s cardiac rhythm.Ensures that cardiac monitoring equipment is functioning appropriately.Minimum Requirements
