We are looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition leader who will lead, inspire and drive excellence in every aspect of candidate generation and sourcing for the USA Region. This highly skilled sourcing leadership position entails strategic oversight of the US-based Sourcing operation including management of functional managers in the execution of tiered sourcing solutions leveraging internal US and Global sourcing resource teams, media plan execution and partnership with the TA Marketing team, and deployment of diversity strategies.

The Associate Sourcing Director is responsible for overseeing talent attraction support strategies via talent sourcing and recruitment marketing actions, as well as ensuring that proactive pipelining goals are met according to the functional country plan. This strategic role is accountable for media planning/deployment and performance, labor modeling/alignment and performance, successful partnerships internally and externally (with job board vendors, RPO, etc.), and labor market consultation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Direct the sourcing team including setting performance objectives, monitoring service levels and maintaining cost-effective delivery of sourcing within the functional space/country to the enterprise
  • Oversee the sourcing strategy and processes ensuring overall sourcing delivery, technology/documentation and role clarity; identify process inefficiencies and propose changes for approval. Act as change agent and take an active role in support of the roll-out and adoption of process changes
  • Build annual/quarterly/monthly media plans that drive high-quality candidate traffic to openings. Collaborate closely with TA Marketing leadership team to drive innovation and high-quality partnership ensuring the best results
  • Perform quarterly source channel analysis to assess channel performance by job type and/or location, using data to inform decisions and plans for channel success
  • Lead the functions in diversity sourcing strategy within the region. Ensure candidate pipelines are infused with diversity and that sourcers are educated on best in class sourcing techniques supporting diversity initiatives
  • Provide smart consultation to business and TA partners on labor market supply/demand, location of talent and competitive landscape
  • Assist in coaching and driving overall career development of team members utilizing UHG tools and philosophies. Identify and prepare next level managers and directors
  • Participate in or lead programs that advance the talent acquisition function as a whole such as Talent Pipelining, Alumni Sourcing, Talent Intelligence, Diversity and Military initiatives, and much more
  • Ensure that the TAS (TA Specialists / internet sourcing team) are leveraged in driving candidate traffic to roles where passive candidate sourcing is not needed or needs to be supplemented

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/ BA degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of Talent Acquisition (recruitment/sourcing) experience
  • 5+ years managerial experience
  • Excellent strategic sourcing experience on a national level
  • Market intelligence and data analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years focused on Physician, Medical Director and Advanced Practice Clinician recruitment in a corporate or search firm environment
  • Proficiency with job boards and sourcing platforms including, but not limited to, Doximity, Profiles, and others
  • Intermediate proficiency with ATS and CRM systems
  • Utilization of talent and recruitment marketing media strategies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
