Key Responsibilities
Provides strategic HR Business Partner expertise to the Senior Leadership Teams of the Global Medical US Market and WW Therapeutic Areas members and their respective teams to maximize organizational performance.
For the groups they support:
Partner with the leaders to build industry leading capabilities through both internal development and targeted external recruitment.
Leads the continued evolution of the talent strategy to ensure highly differentiated focus on this critical capability and workforce.
Translates business strategy and organizational needs into innovative global organizational performance solutions including organizational design, talent management, culture and employee experience.
Translates the business priorities of their leaders into relevant People Strategy and monitors the effectiveness of organization performance programs through the use of metrics and analytics in a way that brings value to the business.
Works with COE’s to monitor external environment (e.g., job market, technology, demographic development) and define future workforce requirements (quantitative and qualitative) as well as identifying and articulating the HR needs of the business to the COE’s and deploys their programs and processes in ways that bring value to the business.
Provides guidance and collaborates with HR Business Partners and People Services teams for effective deployment of HR strategies.
Analyzes key data and trends to drive organizational effectiveness and the development of a workforce plan aligned with business strategy and objectives.
Drives succession planning, strategic talent management and retention efforts, including pipelining, as necessary, for external talent. Takes a leadership role in creating a respectful & inclusive work environment while role-modeling the BMS Values and fostering global diversity.
Qualifications & Experience
BA/BS degree (advanced degree preferred) and 10+ years of HR experience
Extensive experience as an HR business partner with significant leadership skills and experience partnering across global and diverse teams
Demonstrated success in working effectively at senior management levels to impact and influence decision making and provide senior executive coaching
Experience in leading change management efforts including communication plans
Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate and manage business issues and taking initiative to drive necessary change and innovative solutions.
Demonstrated experience utilizing data and analytics to drive business and talent decisions.
Demonstrated skills in applying workforce planning knowledge, engagement strategies, D&I strategies, and talent succession management.
